I like the first version because it emulates your model really well. However, it seems a little bit clustered in the introductions section. The title of the numbers section is not consistent with the rest of the titles. In addition, you could make the map a little bit big to fill in space proportionally. The demographics section looks a bit stretched out.

I fixed the demographics section which was stretched. I changed the font size of the title for numbers section. I made the map bigger to take up space proportionally.

Change the size the of the icons that are signifying "conditions of death", create a graph for the death rate and traveling rate. using the timeline features inside the "Living condition" section and rearrange the icons. Fixed the stretched icons. decrease the text side of the introduction section.

I rearranged the structure of the icons and what they represented. I used men, women, and children to represent the demographics of the migrants. I decreased the amount of text that is used for all text contents.

Change the typography of your headers/titles to 'lemon milk" and Acumin variable concept. you are using a lot of red in the infographics, change the amount of time you use it. Download them from Typekit online.

I downloaded Acumin Variable Concept but could not find Lemon milk in Typekit. I replaced the font I had for the previous infographic components with  Acumin instead.

I like the first version because it gives a clear introduction to the topic and highlights the parties involved and the icons stood out from the rest more than the second version. On both versions, the demographics icons for both men and women seem a little stretched out. Other than that your infographics emulate your models pretty well. Take out the layout lines that divide the sections.

I took out the layout model borders. I fixed the stretched icons.

I fixed the alignment of the text. For the lines that start at the left side, I aligned the text to the left and for the text boxes that have the line start at the right, I aligned the text to the right to signify the direction the text was flowing.

Critique 1 Message & Emulation

This infographic tells a story of human trafficking from sub-Saharan countries to Europe. It contains information about demographics or migrants and the number of people who are traveling, number of people who arrived at their destination and the number of people who died or disappeared.

I emulated my models by color, layout, typography and visual hierarchy.

Critique 2 Message & Emulation

This infographic tells a story of human trafficking from sub-Saharan countries to Europe. It contains information about demographics or migrants and the number of people who are traveling, number of people who arrived at their destination and the number of people who died or disappeared. What I changed mostly includes placement, alignments, and arrangement of contents.

I emulated my models by color, layout, typography and visual hierarchy.

I like the first-second one better because it specifically labeled the organizations who are addressing the issue of human trafficking. Give the contents a margin of that is consistent throughout the layout. Get rid of the outline and increase the size of Africa so it doesn't look like it's being squished.

I increased the size of the map. I took off the borders and aligned the contents.

Fix the alignment of the texts in the timeline section. For the texts that are facing left side make sure to right-align them. Decrease the amount of text on each box. Other than that it looks good.

Final Display Message & Emulation

The story that I am trying to tell starts with the introduction of the topic that I am discussing. Next, to the bottom, it talks about the organizations that are involved in order to address and solve it. Next, to the bottom, it has some stats on the migrants who are taking the human trafficking routes. Next, to the bottom, I have the timeline that speaks about the beginning of human trafficking and the events that happened after that. Next, to the right side, I have the location display that has the map of Africa, Europe, and the Middle East and finally the relationship display which is tied to the location display and the mistreatment section in the bottom right of the infographics. To emulate my layout model, I traced and each element into its' own section and placed my content accordingly.
